The automaker invests $758 million in a new BEV production plant. Kia is shifting its EV strategy into a higher gear with a major announcement of a new production plant, which will be located in the Gyeonggi Province in South Korea. While the $758 million (1 trillion won) investment is surely very important, there’s another piece of news that is probably even more interesting – Kia will release a family of light commercial vehicles with fully electric powertrains and the first model from the range will arrive in 2025.

The Integra Type S is exclusively available with a six-speed manual gearbox that has rev-matching and a limited-slip differential. The 2024 Acura Integra Type S makes its long-awaited debut ahead of going on sale in the United States in June. The public gets to see the sport sedan for the first time at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach this weekend. No pricing details are available at this point.

At the end of last week, the Chinese company Chery held a large corporate presentation and showed several new products, including the new compact crossover TJ-1 with plug-in hybrid powertrain, which can be offered under various subbrands.

New luxury brand Yangwang of the Chinese company BYD announced that it will premiere the U9 electric supercar at the Shanghai Auto Show on April 18, new images have been published, key characteristics have been revealed.

The production version retained many defining elements but the proportions are different. GMC also has a second electric truck in its stable in the form of the Sierra EV. It will be bigger and more sophisticated than the outgoing model. It’s probably safe to say the Duster is among the most important models for Dacia. With 197,100 units delivered around the world last year, the affordable SUV can now brag with more than 2 million cumulative sales since its original launch in 2010. In Europe alone, the Duster was the best-selling SUV on the retail market last year and Dacia’s second best-selling model overall. The V8 special edition has the "world's first incrementally-formed canards." The Lexus LC is entering its 2024 model year in Europe where Toyota's luxury division is launching an Ultimate Edition. Available as a coupe or convertible with the V8, the limited-run special version gets a matte Hakugin White paint that takes after fine Japanese porcelain. The fancy color – which we're being told is inspired by the company's sports car lineup symbolized by the LFA – has a satin lacquer topcoat and is contrasted by black accents.

For the rest of Benelli's bikes, however, like the newly unveiled Tornado 402, they're developed and manufacturer in Qianjiang's facility in China.

The large Chinese SUV has changed both outside and inside. And, perhaps, the range of modifications has been reduced.

Sauber will use Audi engines running on completely renewable fuel. In August 2022, Audi announced intentions to join Formula 1 as an engine supplier for the 2026 season. A couple of months later, the German luxury automaker part of the Volkswagen Group reached an agreement with Sauber. At the end of January this year, it acquired a minority stake in the Swiss F1 team. Later this month, a showcar will be displayed at the Auto Shanghai 2023 as part of the company's plan to release more details about its F1 entry.

It's Ford's smallest van, and the only van yet to be revealed among the nine EVs the automaker promised in Europe by 2024. According to magazine, Ford says it will reveal a new electric vehicle on April 6, 2023. The company confirmed it was an electric van, which means it's almost certainly going to be the small E-Transit Courier.

The Maybach GLS600 and AMG GLS63 receive some tweaks, too. The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLS-Class arrives with a fresh look for the whole range, including the Maybach and AMG variants. They'll be on sale in the United States later this year.
